Atlético Clube Goianiense is now in the creation phase with four categories: U-13, 15, 17, and 20. Apart from serving as the venue for the matches, the Antonio Accioly Stadium also houses the basic categories’ administration, housing, and medical departments.
Athletes use the club’s shuttle bus to get to the training grounds in the city of Goiânia. 8. Palmeiras Football Academy
The official network of football academic institutions for the Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras is the Palmeiras Football Academy. Our objective is to teach our kids valuable lessons and values through football that they can apply both on and off the pitch. We will prepare you for a life full of obstacles, not just football.
At the moment, Palmeiras works with about 200 athletes in its lower divisions. Players ages 15 to 20 can stay at the accommodations. However, the base is exclusively used for training at the Academia de Futebol 2, located in Guarulhos, SP.
The location features five regulation-sized fields (one featuring grandstands and boxes), a goalie training field, locker rooms, an academy for weight training, a medical department, and clothing. Alviverde also has a restaurant for young people and nutritional support.
In 2006, the club was among the first in Brazil to establish a social service centre. It provided comprehensive psychological work and services in the areas of education, health, culture, leisure, and socialisation.
Students of the academy also routinely hone their skills on dirt fields strewn throughout the city. This is with the hope of improving their reflexes, improvisation, and dribbling on obstacle-filled, uneven terrain. Because of the integration and unification of the physical, technical, and technological domains, young people are also becoming more and more involved in the professional team’s everyday operations. To help U-20 players make the transition to the main squad, the club takes a number of steps.
